Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 June 2026

Regatta Exchange is a free introduction service run by a UK sole trader. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Henley Royal Regatta or the Stewards of the Henley Royal Regatta. We do not sell tickets, take payments, or handle money between buyers and sellers.

1. About the service

Regatta Exchange ("we", "us", "our") runs a WhatsApp-based AI service that helps people buy and sell Henley Royal Regatta tickets. You message us on WhatsApp, tell us what you need, and our AI matches buyers with sellers, helps negotiate a price, and — once both sides agree — shares contact details so you can complete the sale directly.

The service is completely free. We do not charge listing fees, buyer fees, or commission. We do not process payments for ticket sales.

2. Who we are

Regatta Exchange is operated as a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. Our website is regattaexchange.com. For questions, contact us at hello@regattaexchange.com or via our WhatsApp number.

3. Accepting these terms

By messaging our WhatsApp number, using our website, or otherwise using Regatta Exchange, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

By sending us a WhatsApp message, you also consent to being contacted in future about this service and similar rowing or regatta events we may run. You can opt out at any time by messaging us STOP or by emailing hello@regattaexchange.com. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Regatta Exchange. By using the service, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into agreements with other users.

5. Our role

We are an introduction and matching service only. We are not a party to any agreement between a buyer and a seller. We do not own, create, or issue tickets. We do not guarantee that a match will be found, that a sale will complete, or that any ticket is valid.

Once you and another user agree a price, we share WhatsApp contact details so you can arrange payment and ticket delivery between yourselves. How you pay each other — bank transfer, cash, or any other method — is entirely up to you.

6. Seller responsibilities

7. Buyer responsibilities

8. Payments

Regatta Exchange does not process, hold, or guarantee any payment for tickets. All payments for tickets are made directly between buyers and sellers. We are not responsible for payment disputes, failed transfers, or refunds of ticket money.

From time to time we may offer an optional voluntary tip link to buyers who found the service helpful. Any tip is entirely optional, separate from any ticket transaction, and does not affect our free matching service.

9. Disputes between users

If something goes wrong between a buyer and a seller — for example, a ticket is not delivered, is invalid, or payment is not made — that dispute is between you and the other person directly. We are not obliged to intervene, mediate, or refund on your behalf.

We may, at our discretion, try to help resolve a dispute by messaging both parties, but we cannot force either side to pay, deliver tickets, or issue refunds. Please see our Refund Policy for more detail.

10. Prohibited use

You must not:

We may stop providing the service to anyone who breaches these rules.

11. Listings and pricing

Listings are capped at face value. We may remove or decline listings that appear inaccurate, fraudulent, or in breach of these terms. We do not guarantee that any listing will result in a sale.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Regatta Exchange is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: failed transactions between users, invalid or undelivered tickets, financial loss from direct payments, or event cancellation.

Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to £100, except where UK law does not allow us to limit liability (for example, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute with us shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
